A volte basta leggere il nome sull’etichetta di una birra per capirne il suo carattere. Estrema, sconsiderata, fuori dalle righe e con un’innata voglia di violazione delle regole…ecco come definire la Punk IPA della Brewdog! Il suo aspetto, un giallo carico con schiuma bianca abbondante e persistente, può farla sembrare una normalissima birra, ma il vero “punto di forza” è il suo aroma che la rende riconoscibile anche ad occhi chiusi. Appena la si avvicina al naso la prima sensazione (sconvolgente) che si ha è quella di un succo di frutta ai gusti tropicali, si alternano aromi di pompelmo, agrumi, kiwi e passion fruit con un finale di luppolo fresco. Il suo sapore è pieno, fresco, secco ed appagante con note che variano da un dolce biscottato iniziale, sentori agrumati nel mezzo ed un finale aggressivo di luppolo amaro. E’ sicuramente una birra molto particolare, non per tutti, ma neanche per pochi…il suo aroma ed il suo sapore ti portano ad odiarla o ad amarla, oppure entrambe le cose, “odi et amo”.

Its taste is full, fresh, dry and satisfying with notes ranging from a sweet biscuit initial hints of citrus in the middle and an ending aggressive hop bitterness. It 's definitely a very special beer, not for everyone, but even for a few ... its aroma and flavor take you to hate it or love it, or both, "odi et amo".
